Ok... I thought I would see what this is like for journals since I've heard such negative things about it.
Sta.sh writer to write a journal? No wonder people are confused, when you press write a journal it takes you to the main part to upload files. You have to click on the down arrow next to the Sta.sh logo then go to the writer part to actually write something. It would save a lot of confusion if it just linked to this part when you click to write a new journal.

At least copy and paste works, I read that someone couldn't do it, but I just tested it and it worked for me.

Why is there not a title, or will that come later after I press continue? The main thing I've heard that I hate is the lack of editing of the main text.
Also in this part there's no preview, I like the preview to see how my text sits and to make sure I haven't written any codes wrong.

Hm so it seems easier to add things into our journals like deviations and oh we can browse our friend's art and showcase their work or use it to spell their names correctly XD hm can see their journals in the deviations too.

So far I've found that I can't edit group blogs which is annoying and will mean we'll end up having loads of useless blogs hanging around and redone blogs if there's a mistake or we need to change the info rather then editing and having the choice to not to inform our watchers if it's a minor change. I haven't tried to edit my own journals but no doubt it would be the same.

Hopefully editing will be back up and this is only a temporary thing.

I hate seeing random journals in the news section. If I wanted to read someone's journal because they're popular then I'd go to the daily page thing which has those stats, not look at the news which should be reserved for oh I don't know - NEWS. Merging them was a bad idea.

Some people have had problems with the skins. I've just chosen one to try it out and I don't think I will see the results until I preview or post it? I donno.

Auto-saving is nice, the amount of times I've pressed the wrong button and lost my journal... ok I think that's only happened a couple of times, but still enough for me to like auto-saving.

I think I'll try and upload a deviation to sta.sh next, but I won't post it onto my account until monday.

So let's see how fiddly it is to post this new journal.

(I bet a lot of you are getting sick of journals likes these, or will do eventually lol)

Ok, so I have submitted my journal, and then clicked the edit part which ... takes me back to ... the old way of writing journals... Oh hey I can preview my skin in here.

Why bother with that sta.sh when I can still use the old way when I edit? Why not either put the old stuff in sta.sh or don't bother with putting journals in there.

Damn this way will take ages if I want a skin.

This sta.sh thing for journals seems pointless to me. It should have all the options for journals like the old way when you chose journals in the categories or not in sta.sh at all.
